کتاب «تاکتیکهای دفاعی یورگن کلوپ» تهیه شده توسط آنالیزور ماهر، ترزیس آتاناسیوس میباشد. او آنالیزها و تحلیلهای گرد آوری شده در کتاب «تاکتیکهای دفاعی یورگن کلوپ» را با مشاهده بیش از ۱۰۰۰ ساعت از تمرینات یورگن کلوپ و بررسی کلیه بازیهای بورسیا دورتموند در فصل ۱۴ – ۲۰۱۳ بدست آورده است.

این آنالیزها تقسیم شده به موقعیتهای خاص مهارتی است، که شامل ۱۴ جلسه تمرینی (۵۳ تمرین) میباشد.
تمرینات به کار گرفته شده در کتاب «تاکتیکهای دفاعی یورگن کلوپ» از آنالیز ۱۴ جلسه تمرینی (۵۳ تمرین) و شامل تمرینات اساسی، بازیهای موقعیتی در برابر حریفان، تمرینات بر اساس توسعه انتقال بازی، و بازیهای زمین کوچک میباشد.
